Clipper, FoxPro and dBASE for Dos applications are the orphans of the programming world. Many of them were remarkable work horses in their time. They are now out of date but still functional and important to their users. You typically have 2 choices:
This is not absolutely impossible but it gets harder each year as technology moves along (for example, you can't use Windows printers).
This is a tough "bite" the bullet situation. You may not need any new features in your software and yet, if you don't upgrade, you run the risk that one day nothing will work!!! |
